ContemporaryCouples.com is the nation's only online learning community dedicated to inspiring and strengthening gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgender relationships and families through research-based web seminars (webinars) led by professional counselors and instructors. Our mission is to teach LGBTQ singles and couples across the country the essential skills for creating and maintaining committed and loving long-term relationships. A growing body of social science shows same-sex couples the best ways to communicate, negotiate differences, keep romance alive, and connect intimately while still maintaining individuality. Choose from a variety of live and interactive e-workshops that can be taken from the comfort of your own home or office using a computer with Internet access and a telephone -- no formal dress code or expensive travel required. Our presenters are seen on your computer screen; audio takes place via a toll-free conference line. Presentations may include PowerPoint, video, relationship assessment tools, exercises, and group discussion depending on the course. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs and schedule -- including short programs, longer seminars, and a comprehensive 8-hour course divided into four parts.
ContemporaryCouples.com offers gay & lesbian relationship education, coaching, and consultation using enthusiasm, optimism, respect, humor, authenticity, confidentiality, and the highest possible ethical standards in all of our web conferences. Some participants choose to share thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences while others opt to remain silent and simply absorb the information as they listen. Either choice is absolutely fine -- participants are never pressured to speak. Our goal is to create a safe, comfortable and optimal learning experience for everyone who joins us.
